
Dante Pavan is an associate at Halloran Farkas + Kittila LLP and a resident of the Wilmington, DE office of the firm. Dante represents various parties in commercial disputes in federal and state courts, such as bankruptcy and insolvency matters. He joined the firm after having served as the primary Assistant U.S. Attorney for representing the United States in Delaware Bankruptcy and Delaware state court matters. In his role, Dante advised and collaborated with over a dozen governmental departments and agencies on matters including insolvency, reorganizations, corporations and alternative entities, contracts, environmental laws and regulations, constitutional issues, CFIUS, federal crimes, and civil fraud. Dante also keeps up to date with Indian Law, having previously served as the National Vice President of the National Native American Law Students Association.
Before joining the United States Attorney’s Office, Dante was a corporate advisory associate at McDermott Will & Emery (now McDermott Will & Schulte), representing private and public companies, business owners, and investors in a broad range of corporate and commercial law matters. He started his career as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Mary F. Walrath for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. While in law school, Dante was the Editor-in-Chief of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, intern for federal appeals court and a state trial court judges, Hon. Thomas L. Ambro Fellow, and Research Assistant to Dean Rodney Smolla.
